How to get there.
Take the SE Freeway from Adelaide. Leave the Freeway at Monarto South/Zoo turn off. Turn right across the bridge and proceed 3 km south. The car park is on the right at the beginning of the park in the NE corner.
Malleefowls occur here with one mound being recorded, along with many other mallee species, such as the Australian Ringneck and Mulga Parrot, with some seasonal visitors like the Rainbow Bee-eater. There is a very good chance of seeing the Southern Scrub-robin and the Shy Heathwren plus a large number of honeyeaters.
