How to get there. |
||||
Take the SE Freeway from Adelaide. Leave the Freeway at Monarto South/Zoo turn off. Turn right across the bridge and proceed 3 km south. The car park is on the right at the beginning of the park in the NE corner. |
Malleefowls occur here with one mound being recorded, along with many other mallee species, such as the Australian Ringneck and Mulga Parrot, with some seasonal visitors like the Rainbow Bee-eater. There is a very good chance of seeing the Southern Scrub-robin and the Shy Heathwren plus a large number of honeyeaters. |
