How to get there. |

| On the northern side of Kessel Rd, Goolwa. Driving south into Goolwa turn right at Kessel Rd and the ponds can be seen 1km on the right. | ||||

A bird hide organised by the Fleurieu Birdwatchers allows good views of ducks in the main pond. Surrounding swampy areas provide good habitat for a wide range of waterbirds. Due to the growth of Goolwa, at the time of writing the ponds are being expanded. This will affect the birds as ponds are drained, enlarged and then refilled.
